Japanese Catering in Burbank & Glendale
Okamoto Kitchen is an anime-inspired Japanese caterer and food truck based in the San Fernando Valley, a short drive from Burbank and Glendale. Studios, offices and families around the area book us for team lunches, wrap parties, premieres, holiday parties and birthdays. We’ve catered for entertainment and game companies including Sony, Universal Studios, Cartoon Network, Fox and Riot Games, so we know how to feed a production crew on a schedule.
Our truck also parks in Burbank for a public lunch stop about once a month, so a lot of local crews already know the food. Check the truck schedule to try us before you book.
Two ways to cater
- Food truck on site: our anime-wrapped truck parks at your office, lot or venue and cooks everything to order, so the food is hot and the truck is part of the party.
- Drop-off catering: we bring ready-to-serve Japanese comfort food for meetings, team lunches and parties.
What we serve
Chef Chizuru was born in Tokyo and trained at Le Cordon Bleu. Every order is cooked by our own crew, never handed off to a third party. Our catering menus are built around the dishes people line up for at the truck: Japan Fried Chicken (JFC), katsu curry sandwiches, gyudon and other rice bowls, poke soba, okonomi fries and cheese mochi sticks. Vegan options are available, and specialty drinks like Thai tea and melon soda can be added.

Burbank, Glendale, the Media District, Toluca Lake, North Hollywood, Studio City and the rest of the East Valley, plus anywhere else in LA and Ventura counties.
