Japanese Catering in the San Gabriel Valley

Okamoto Kitchen brings anime-inspired Japanese catering to Pasadena and the whole San Gabriel Valley. You’ll find us at Anime Pasadena at the Pasadena Convention Center every November, and our truck parks in San Gabriel for dinner service about once a month. We’ve also served events at Cal State LA.

We cater office lunches, school and community events, birthday parties, anime club meetups and holiday parties, with the truck on site or drop-off for smaller groups.

Two ways to cater

• Food truck on site: our anime-wrapped truck parks at your office, lot or venue and cooks everything to order, so the food is hot and the truck is part of the party.
• Drop-off catering: we bring ready-to-serve Japanese comfort food for meetings, team lunches and parties.

What we serve

Chef Chizuru was born in Tokyo and trained at Le Cordon Bleu. She brings real Japanese comfort food, the kind you’d find at a Tokyo shokudo, to your event. Our catering menus are built around the dishes people line up for at the truck: Japan Fried Chicken (JFC), katsu curry sandwiches, gyudon and other rice bowls, poke soba, okonomi fries and cheese mochi sticks. Vegan options are available, and specialty drinks like Thai tea and melon soda can be added.

Where we cater

Pasadena, San Gabriel, Alhambra, Arcadia, Monrovia, San Marino, Temple City, El Monte and West Covina, plus the rest of LA and Ventura counties. Check the truck schedule for our next San Gabriel Valley stop.
