Flavor Engine – Terms of Agreement

Effective Date: October 13, 2025

By registering for Okamoto Kitchen’s Flavor Engine (“Program”), you agree to these Terms of Agreement (“Terms”).

1) Eligibility & Registration

1. You must be 18+ (or have a parent/guardian’s consent) to register and play.
2. One account per person. Creating or using multiple accounts is prohibited and may result in ban and prize forfeiture.
3. You must provide accurate information and keep it current.

2) Availability & How to Play

1. Flavor Engine is available at Okamoto Kitchen events only and when the game is active at the truck/booth.
2. New registrants receive one free game (5 spins), redeemable in person while the Program is active.
3. Additional games may be earned with Okamoto Kitchen food or merch purchases; spins per game may scale with purchase amount.
4. Play is limited to once per hour per player.
5. Players may hold a maximum of 10 spins at any time.

3) Rewards, Coins & Prizes

1. Honey Coins equal $1 off Okamoto Kitchen purchases, have no cash value, and may be redeemed individually or combined—up to $100 off per order.
2. Some items, prizes, or features may be available only at specific stages or events.
3. Grand Prize (Free Catering) is limited to a maximum value of $500.
4. Prizes are non-transferable, have no cash alternative, and are subject to availability and verification.
5. Taxes and fees (if any) are the winner’s responsibility.

4) Progressive Jackpot (if offered)

1. Any progressive jackpot feature is promotional; the pot size is non-cash and paid out only as expressly described at the truck/event.
2. Contribution rates, eligibility, payout method, timing, and odds may change or be suspended at our discretion.

5) Fair Play & Anti-Abuse

1. Cheating, exploiting bugs, using automation, or interfering with gameplay is prohibited.
2. We may limit, suspend, or terminate participation; void plays/prizes for suspected abuse, fraud, or violations of these Terms.

6) Alpha Status & Changes

1. Flavor Engine is in alpha. Features, prizes, payouts, odds, game systems, schedules, and rules may change at any time without notice.
2. We may pause, modify, or end the Program or any event in our discretion (e.g., technical issues, safety, venue rules).

7) Communications & Privacy

1. By registering, you consent to receive Program-related communications (e.g., confirmations, prize notices).
2. Marketing messages are optional and require separate consent where applicable; you can opt out anytime.
3. We handle personal information per our Privacy Policy. By registering, you acknowledge and accept that policy.

8) Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability

1. You participate at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Okamoto Kitchen and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for interruptions, errors, or lost opportunities related to the Program.
2. Our total liability for any claim related to the Program will not exceed $100.

9) Disputes & Governing Law

1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California (without regard to conflict-of-laws rules).
2. Venue for disputes will be the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

10) Miscellaneous

1. We may update these Terms at any time; the posted version at registration or at the event controls.
2. If a term is found unenforceable, the remaining terms remain in effect.
3. Failure to enforce any right is not a waiver.
4. These Terms are the entire agreement governing your participation in the Program.
